Where It All Began
After earning her bachelor’s degree and masters degree in the same University in Southern California, Georgia moved to the North Highlands where the area is food-centric. This is where she started her career on the food and restaurant business. She missed her favorite southern smoked BBQ. Since she graduated with a degree on food and restaurant business, she came up with a plan to bring her favorite southern-inspired BBQ to the people of North Highlands. She decided to cross the country in order to find the best recipes of smoked BBQ in America. Once she completed her journey, she explored Northern California to find locally grown produce, top quality ingredients and the best quality meats around. She created various flavors of BBQs inspired by the different regions of America. She had everything from meats to the side dishes. Georgia’s Smokehouse opened in 2010 with a group of amazing employees and that vibe of giving diners quality comfort food, with the warm and comforting feeling that you feel like you’re at home while away from home. In no time, it became a huge hit, patrons loved it so much. Georgia’s Smokehouse is now known for its award-winning BBQs and memorable atmosphere.

The regionally inspired menu features all of our favorites — Memphis Ribs, Baby Back Ribs, Beef Brisket, and a Northern California-style Pulled Pork that we slow-cook in a special recipe, serve with various homemade sauces that match perfectly with the smoked meat.
